4.0 out of 5 stars Lingonberry Jam, February 24, 2009
This review is from: Swedish Lingonberry Preserves (14 ounce) (Misc.)
I just LOVED the product but the service, I was "very disappointed in"... to put it nicely. I paid for two day delivery, and got it seven days later. When I contacted the company that sent it - I Gourmet - they said that it was just two days, from the date that they put it in the mail ! Had they said they would be doing that and I would not have it in time for a dinner party I was having, I certainly would not have planned on getting it in two days nor would I have paid to get it in two days ! Again, the product was great but I paid for faster shipping then I remotely, got even close to.

5.0 out of 5 stars THIS IS GREAT STUFF!, December 28, 2008
This review is from: Swedish Lingonberry Preserves (14 ounce) (Misc.)
Lingonberries are great little sweet/tart berries, somewhat similar to our cranberries but smaller and deep red throughout. The preserves are great for using with crepes, pancakes, or Swedish meatballs. I have seen a recipe where the lingonberry preserves (with about 1-2 tablespoons of orange liqueur added) are used to glaze a ham or pork roast. They are also great to dress up ice cream or pound cake. A tablespoon would be great on top of a slice of cheesecake. A little goes a long way. If you want to check them out before ordering, try the Swedish crepes at IHOP.
